Sisodia suggests to schools to run in two shifts

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today suggested to private schools in the state to see if they would like to run institutes in two shifts.

“Have also asked if some of the pvt schools would like to run in double shifts,” Sisodia also the Delhi Education Minister said on micro-blogging site Twitter.

He proposed to private schools to work towards reducing curriculum for students of class IX to class XII by 25 per cent.

“I’ve asked leading pvt schools to work on 25% reduction in curriculum for class 9 to 12th,” he tweeted.

In the past too, the AAP government had pushed the idea of reducing curriculum of students to see space and time available in schooling can be used for holistic development of children.
