Six-year-old with over 50 dog bites admitted to hospital, stable

Bengaluru: A six-year-old girl was admitted to a hospital here after she was attacked by over 10 dogs when playing outside her home on Thursday.

The condition of Ramya, who was admitted to KIMS hospital with more than 50 dog bites, is said to be stable.

Head of the paediatric department at KIMS Hospital Dr. S Srinivasa told ANI that the girl would remain under observation for around three days.

“Around 12 o clock, two girls were playing. Around 10-15 dogs dragged one child away and bit her badly. Baby’s vital parameters are stable. However, baby is suffering from wounds. She has to be in the hospital for three days. We are monitoring her condition. At present, the baby is stable,” he said. (ANI)
