Skills Academy inks MoU with Govt. of Telangana

Hyderabad: Extending cooperation to Skill India Program, 02 Skill Academy signed an MoU with Govt. of Telangana which makes a provision for imparting training to 1260 men and women between the age group 18-35 years during the next three years.

 

The objective of these job oriented training program is to provide skilled workers for industry. The role of 02 Skills Academy would be limited to training certification and placement. This pact is within the Jurisdiction of Employment Generation and Marketing Mission (EGMM) which falls under Dept. of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development. The first batch of the trainees started yesterday. A maximum of 35 candidates would be imparted theory and practical training for three months. The trainee programs include hair and beauty treatments, housekeeping etc. The syllabus of these courses is approved by Govt. of Telangana. Mr. Ritesh, MD of the foundation of 02 Spa told that the objective of these programs is to reduce the supply of manpower in hospital related industries. Commenting on the MoU, director of the academy, Ms. Sweta told that 02 Skills Academy is an international level training platform which concentrates on supply of manpower to industry. With the implementation of MoU, hundreds of youths of the State would get opportunities to get jobs in various industries.
