Slogans raised during candlelight vigil at Ryan International

New Delhi: The family members of students of the Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj observed a candlelight vigil in front of the school here today to express their solidarity with six-year-old Divyansh Kakrora, who was found dead in a septic tank of the school on Saturday.

Apart from family members of school students, several social activists and child right activists also took part in the march.

Some of the people raised slogans denouncing the Principal of the school while others demanded a CBI probe.

Earlier today, the Principal, a teacher and three staff members of the school were arrested and later released on bail in connection Divyansh’s death.

The six-year-old boy’s parents had earlier blamed the school for the death of their son and termed the entire episode as a ‘conspiracy’.

Divyansh was found dead in a septic tank of the school on Saturday. The incident took place at around 12 noon after the boy went missing at the school.

The child was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The Delhi Police have assured that necessary legal action would be taken against those involved in the case.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Government has ordered a magisterial enquiry into the incident. (ANI)
