Soon, motorcycles to have a touchscreen

Washinton: Famous US motorcycle brand, Indian recently unveiled a new 7-inch touchscreen system known as ‘Ride Command’ that will provide turn-by-turn directions, sync to smartphones, and find the closest fuel station when the tank is low.

In 2013, BMW partnered with Garmin to launch its Navigator V device for its bikes. Harley-Davidson came up with its Boom! Box system in 2014. Ride Command brings navigation and infotainment together in one screen. The new touchscreen feature will come with Indian’s new Chieftain and Roadmaster bikes.
