Soon, all Noida officials to work under one roof

New Delhi: Soon, residents of the satellite city of Noida will no longer face the hassle of running from one department to another for getting their grievances addressed.

According to Saumya Srivastava, Deputy CEO of Noida authority, an office building is being constructed in Sector 96 that will accommodate all the officials of the Authority.

The work on the building started in January 2016 and is now amidst arranging the machinery required for the civil work.

Currently, the offices of various departments of the authority are located in different sectors and buildings around the city. The authority aims to provide better services to the residents of Noida by relocating all the departments to one plot.

“Shifting all the authority officials to the same building will benefit the residents of Noida and make their work easier. Establishing a dedicated common office will help the residents through the struggle of going back and forth to various administrative departments. With all the officials present on the same plot, the process of complaint submission, registration, reporting disservice, etc. will become coherent and efficient,” stated Rama Raman, CEO of Noida Authority.

According to the authority, two buildings are being constructed on the plot. One of them is designed to be 19 floor-high while the other will be a nine-storey building spread across 6 acres of land.

The basement of the building will be mainly reserved for parking and measures to the capacity of holding approximately 1200 motor vehicles. The total cost of construction for this project is calculated to be around Rs. 252 crores.

Officials state that the building will functional by 7th January, 2019. (ANI)
