Etah: A teenage girl was killed and a boy severely injured after a speeding truck hit them while they were going to work in the fields, police said today.
“Pushpendra (8) and Shilpi (13) were going to work in the fields when a truck hit them near Punhera village here,” police said.
Police have arrested the truck driver who was transporting 35 animals in his vehicle under provisions of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The truck owner has also been booked.
