Sphero’s new wearable to help control BB-8 with wrist

New Delhi: J.J. Abrams’s American epic space opera film ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ saw the use of Sphero’s BB-8.

To add to the delight of the fans, Sphero demonstrated at Consumer Electronic Show, 2016, the prototype hardware of its upcoming motion-tracking wearable designed to pair with and control the popular rolling BB-8 toy.

According to The Verge, the wearable wristband will let one use gestures to control the droid.

BB-8, a robot character in the Star Wars franchise, is portrayed by both a rod puppet and a remote-controlled robotic unit. (ANI)
