SOT police officials here on Tuesday raided a den on the city outskirts where adulterated diesel was being prepared and took two persons into custody.
The SOT police also seized 35,000 litres of adulterated diesel and two lorry tankers transporting blue kerosene. Earlier, on a tip-off that spurious diesel was being prepared at Hema Nagar Road No 6 under Medipally Police Station limits, SOT SI Ramulu and his staff raided the den and busted the racket. The two suspects, lorry tankers and spurious diesel was handed over to the Medipally police for follow-up action. (NSS)
