Job Description
Planning and designing LAN/WAN networks at customer sites & configuring Switches.
Willing to travel to sites for hardware installation & commissioning.
Performance monitoring & optimization of all Links & networking equipment
Bandwidth monitoring and management
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades
Layer 2 Switching, VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP.
Troubleshooting OSI Model and TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing Protocols, IP Addressing, Access list.
Configuration & trouble shooting of ISP Modems.
Have a good technical network background.
Working knowledge of major networking components & hardware components.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly too non-technical colleagues.
Experience of performance measurement, capacity and tuning issues.
Able and willing to work flexible hours when necessary.
