Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with religious fervor and reverence at all Sri Rama temples across Telangana State on Wednesday.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan attended ‘Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam’ at Raj Bhavan. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Endowments Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy and other dignitaries presented ‘Pattu Vasthralu’ and ‘Mutyala Talambralu’ to the Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Temple of Bhadrachalam in Khammam district for Sitarama ‘Kalyanam’.
Thousands of devotees thronged Sri Rama temples across Telangana State to perform special poojas on the occassion. A massive ‘Shobha Yatra’ was also organised in Hyderabad from Seetharambagh to Hanuman Tekdi. (INN)
