Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today instructed the officials to speed up the process of filling vacant posts in various departments.
At a high level review meeting here he said that the process of job filling should be done on a war-footing to keep the promise by the government. The meeting assumes significance as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced to fill 1.12 lakh posts form the ramparts of the Golconda Fort on the occasion 71st Independence Day Celebrations.
The officials of Education and other departments were asked to coordinate for speedy conduct of the examinations by issuing notifications and addressing related issues. Srihari also directed the officials to prepare all details in place and come up with some suggestions for hassle-free conduct of examinations to fill the posts.
Srihari stressed the need for addressing the issues pertaining to Presidential order, zonal system, new districts and calendar for recruitment and pending court cases. He discussed on the jobs to be filled as part of keeping the promise of the Chief Minister. KCR has declared that 1.12 lakh posts will be filled soon as the process was on for recruiting 84,876 posts in addition to 27,660 posts in the State.
The Deputy Chief Minister advised the TSPSC Chairman to give the entire details while releasing, and advised the officials to give suggestions on smooth conduct of the recruitment drive.
Chief Secretary SP Singh, TSPSC Chairman G Chakrapani, TSPSC Secretary Vani Mohan, Chief Principal Secretary to Education Ranjeev Acharya and Secretaries of Finance, Law, Home and others attended the meeting. It was decided to conduct another round of meeting on August 21 as the meeting focused on key issues. (NSS)
