Stalemate continues over the development of Wakf properties

Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has planned to lease out 11 Wakf properties for 30 years but its implementation is being delayed due to legal complications. All these properties are involved in legal complications due to which the officials of Wakf Board are hesitating to call for global tenders for constructions.

It is reported that some MNCs have expressed their interest to develop the complexes on either side of Hajj House but the architectural designs of these complexes are such that MNCs are hesitant to take them on lease.
