State BJP chief slams Uttam for jealous comments

BJP Telangana State president Dr K Laxman today alleged that the Congress party is not able to digest success of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi visit to the State. He pooh phooed State Congress president Uttamkumar Reddy’s comment that the State did not get anything with the visit of the Prime Minister.

 

The State BJP chief said that Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various projects with estimated cost of Rs 17,000 crore. The NDA government has taken up various projects in Telangana State during the last two year which were not initiated by Congress government.  Revival of Ramgundem Fertiliser plant, laying of foundation stone for 1600 mw Telangana super thermal power project, Kaloji Narayan Rao health university at Warangal, a long pending demand of Karimnagar people a railway line between Manoharabad and Kottapalli and dedication to the nation the Jaipur thermal power plant in Adilabad district are some of the programs taken place during the visit of the Prime Minister,  Laxman reminded the Congress and said these are the programs which were demanded by the people of the State when Congress was in power.

 

When Congress was at the Centre as well as in the State for ten year, why it failed to revive Ramagundam fertilizer plant, he questioned and asked Uttam Kumar Reddy to respond on this. He also ridiculed the Congress leaders’ comment that BJP and TRS would get merged. Is it not true the Congress party which earlier contested elections along with the TRS, he asked and said the Congress was totally in confusion state and trying to mislead the people by spreading untrue and baseless information. He said even Chief Minister KCR also acknowledge that all developmental and welfare programs are getting aid from the Centre.

Stating that Telangana would be Congress-free State in 2019,  Laxman said BJP would form the government in the State. (NSS)
