State Employees meet CS on bifurcation woes

Telangana State Government Employees’ Associations’ leaders and members today urged the government to resolve their long-pending grievances.

A delegation of the leaders called on Chief Secretary SP Singh at the Secretariat and had a brief discussion and requested him to sort out their problems remained unresolved post bifurcation. It is likely that the State government would resolve the issue in a week or so. They enumerated their woes, including general transfers, payment of arrears of enhanced salaries and repatriating the Class IV employees working in Andhra Pradesh State.

After a patient hearing, the Chief Secretary assured them that he would take up the issue with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to take a call.

Speaking to mediapersons later, employees’ leaders they appealed to the Chief Secretary to resolve their issues pending for a long time. Singh assured to resolve them in a week day, they said. The leaders said they would wait for a week whether the government finds any solution in a week as assured, otherwise, they would chalk out a fresh action plan to mount pressure on the government, they added..
