State party celebrates BJP Formation Day

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party formation day was celebrated at the Telangana State party headquarters here on Wednesday.
After hoisting the party flag on the occasion, State BJP president G Kishan Reddy addressed the gathering. Alleging that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was supporting anti-national forces in the country, Kishan Reddy asked whether Rahul Gandhi and the Left parties were ready for a debate on “Vandemataram”. He said the BJP is a nationalist party and people of the country were supporting the party’s stand on nationalism.
Criticising the stand of some political parties on the Hyderabad Central University incidents, Kishan Reddy said several BJP workers have sacrificed their lives for the country. A large number of party workers attended the function and raised Vandemataram slogans.
Party MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, MLC N Ramchender Rao and other leaders attended the formation day function in the morning. (NSS)
