State turned into a hub for drug smuggling: Laxman

Launching a scathing attack on the KCR government in the State over drug menace, Telangana State BJP president Dr K Laxman today alleged that the State become a hub for drug mafia.
Addressing party state executive meeting at Hanamakonda today, Laxman said drug mafia has spread its tentacles targeting even students. Alleging that corruption in the State was rampant, the BJP chief said while grave corruption charges and allegations were being leveled against his cabinet colleaguies, Chief Minister KCR remained silent. He also said physical attacks on the Dalits have increased at unprecedented level.
Referring to the famous Haritha Haram program of the TRS government, Laxman said the Chief Minister and ministers were concentrating more on erecting their flexes and photos than planting of samplings during the program. He also alleged that Central funds allotted for welfare schemes were being diverted for other schemes by the State government.
Besides Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, party’s national general secretary Murlidhar Rao, party MLAs, including G Kishan Reddy attended the executive meeting. (NSS)
