Student dies while MP cops wait for CM convoy to pass

Bhopal: In a case of negligence by police, a 22-year-old student was writhing in pain dies while Shivraj Singh’s convoy passed by nonchalantly.

According to reports, For 45 minutes Vikas Prasad Soniya was squirming with pain lay by the roadside after being hit by a bus in front of the in-session Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday morning.

As the CM convoy was passing, cops of Madhya Pradesh just picked him up only to dump him on the pavement rather taking him to hospital just to ensure the convoy could smoothly pass without any disruptions.

The police stood there as mute spectators and nobody tried to help the student who laid in the pool of blood. Finally, after the CM convoy passed he was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.

He had suffered severe head injuries. The horror did not end here. As the ambulance rushed him to JP Hospital, Vikas laid in the hospital corridor for nearly 20 minutes as no doctor came to attend him.

“My son lay unattended for more than 20 minutes. Doctors failed to clear blood entering my son’s throat as the machine was defunct,” the helpless father of Vikas, Gookul Prasad Soniya said
