Students will vote out KCR: Shabbir Ali

Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Saturday said that the TRS government has ditched the student community by not clearing their fee reimbursement dues.

Speaking at the hunger strike organized by students body Telangana Vidyarti Udyama Vedika (TVUV) in front of the Arts College on Osmania University Campus, the Congress MLC slammed the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that his government ignored the issues of students who supported the TRS chief during the Telangana movement. He warned the same students with whose support KCR became CM would vote him out in the next elections if he continues with the anti-students policies.

MLA and BC welfare organization leader R Krishnaiah said that the government’s indifferent attitude towards the students’ community was pushing them in depression as they were unable to continue their studies due to pending fee reimbursement.  He alleged that the state government was playing with the lives of lakhs of students who are suffering for the government’s negligent attitude.

CPM leader Venkat, CPI leader Dr Sudhakar, BJP MLC Ramachandra Rao, TVUV leaders Saleem Pasha, N Ramesh also spoke. (INN)
