Sudarshan TV head’s comment on Hajj a threat to pilgrims?

NEW DELHI: Suresh Chavhanke, the Editor-in-Chief and Chief Managing Director of a Sudarshan TV news channel attempts to instigate Hindus to attack Hajj pilgrims.

The Sudarshan TV boss in his tweet call for attacks on Hajj pilgrims understandably to take vengeance for the terror attack on Amarnath Yatris in Jammu and Kashmir late July 10.

Chavhanke in his tweet posted on Monday morning  wrote– #Islam Mai Pavitr #Hajj2017 Yatra Ke Liye Udaane Shuru Hui Hai. Duniya Ki Koi Taaqat Us mai Khalal Dal Nahi Sakti. #Hindu Apni Kami Ko Khud Khoje.

(The flights for Islam’s pious #Hajj2017 pilgrimage have started. No worldly power can cause any disruption here. Hindus should search for their own shortcomings.)

Chavhanke’s tweet came after Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday morning flagged off the first batch of 300 Haj pilgrims.

By writing “Duniya Ki Koi Taaqat Usmein Khalal Nahin Daal Sakti”, followed by “Hindu Apni Kami Khud Khojen”, Chavhanke’s tweet was trying to establish that with the shortcomings of Hindus, no power in the world can cause any disruption to Hajj pilgrimage.

Chavhanke’s act allegedly attempted to incite communal hatred did not actually go down well with the citizens.

Earlier, Chavhanke was booked for rape charges. A former female employee has accused the channel’s head of sexually assaulting and intimidating her.

In April, he has been arrested for allegedly promoting enmity between different groups in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. He was charged under various sections of the IPC.
