Sudhir Committee members taken aback over CM’s claim

sudhir-commission-of-enquiry

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on the occasion of Iftar Party on June 26, had announced that the Sudhir commission will submit its report within a few days but the Sudhir Commission itself was completely taken aback by the announcement, as it is not in a position to present its report immediately due to the non-cooperation by the government departments. As KCR had promised reservations soon after coming to power, he has also claimed to receive Sudhir Commission report within a few days.

When contacted, Sudhir Commission evaded commenting on the announcement. However Commission sources admitted that efforts are on to submit the report at the earliest but it requires cooperation by the government departments, while most of the government departments have not yet submitted the details sought by the commission.

It seems that the chief Minster, seeing a large gathering of Muslims at the party, announced to receive the commission report within a few days without realising that it is still a far cry.
