Hyderabad: Human needs warrant us to be helpful to each other. For peace and tranquility in the world, we have to take lessons from Sufism. The world witnessed that those who ruled countries on the strength of sword did not receive any respect after they died. On the other, the sufis who propagated the message of peace and tranquility are still remembered. They taught us humanity. These thoughts were expressed by Devanji of Ajmer Shareef, Hazrat Sayed Zainul Abedeen Khan while addressing International Peace Conference at Hyderabad yesterday. The conference was held under the stewardship of Hazrath Syed Darvesh Mohiuddin Qadri.
Promoter of “Art of Living”, Shree Shree Ravi Shanker, Union Labour Minister, Mr. Dattatarya, Dy. CM of Telangana Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister of Telangana, Mr. N. Narasimha Reddy, former Union Minister, Mr. Mani Shanker Iyer, Mr. Somnath Bharti, AAP MLA from Delhi, Swami Lakshmi Shanker Acharya and others addressed the conference.
Maulana Zainul Abedeen told that no sufi shed blood for winning the hearts of people. They spread the message of peace to humanity through their actions. Shree Shree Ravi Shanker told that the supporter of peace is a true Muslim. He quoted Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) that he had given good tidings that he is getting cold breeze from India.
Mr. Mani Shanker Iyer lamented that intolerance is on the increase in the country. He strongly condemned the killings of Muslims and Dalits. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that terrorism is not associated with Islam. Mr. Narasimha Reddy highlighted the efforts of TRS Govt. for the promotion of Peace and Tranquility.
