New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has greeted the people on the occasion of Dussehra.
“On the auspicious and joyous occasion of Dussehra, I convey my greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens,” she said in a statement here on Monday.
“Dussehra symbolises the triumph of justice, truth and virtue over the forces of darkness and evil and is an inspiration for a life of righteous action. Let us on this occasion rededicate ourselves to fight against the evil forces around us to bring peace and prosperity to all people,” she said.
“May this festival be a time to reinforce the bonds of brotherhood, amity and goodwill and inspire us to forge ahead and overcome all obstacles and triumph against all adversities,” Mahajan added.
