Mrs. Surayya Jabeen’s 4th compilation ‘Armanaun kay phool’ was released during a book release function held on Wednesday, April 27. Mr. A K Khan (IPS) Director General Anti Corruption Bureau released the book. The function as held on April 23, Urdu Hall, Himayat Nagar.
Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan presided over the function. During his speech he appealed the audience to join ‘one dish, one sweet’ campaign launched by Siasat. Writer Mrs. Naseema Turab ul Hasan was the chief guest while Prof. Ashraf Rafi former Head of the Department of Urdu was the guest of honour. Mrs. Laxmi Devi Raj, fiction writer Mrs. Qamer Jamali also addressed on the occasion. Dr. Javed Kamal organised the programme. Prof. Habeeb Zia, Mr. Abdur Raheem Khan, Turab ul Hasan, Humayun Mirza and other city dignitaries also graced the occasion.
