Male, Oct. 11 : External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj co-chaired the fifth India-Maldives Joint Commission meeting in Male along with her counterpart Dhunya Maumoon.
Earlier, Swaraj had interacted with the Indian community in Maldives and urged them to contribute in Indian government’s ‘Clean Ganga’, ‘Swachh Bharat’ schemes.
The External Affairs Minister, who is on a two-day official visit to the country, will also be meeting Maldives President Abdulla Yameen and other senior government officials. (ANI)
