Swarovski ties with 11 designers for new jewellery collective

New Delhi: Swarovski Professional marked its 15-year journey in India by unveiling an exclusive collective titled “Confluence” in association with 11 known designers of the fashion fraternity.

The collection of exquisite jewellery has been designed by some of the top fashion luminaries in the country and crafted with the finest Swarovski crystals.

The collection features statement designs crafted by the leading fashion and jewellery designers of India including Amrapali, Eina Ahluwalia, Gaurav Gupta, Isharya, JJ Valaya, Manish Arora, Outhouse, Pernia Qureshi, Rohit Bal, Shivan & Narresh and Suneet Varma.

Talking about how designers are exploring this segment as part of business growth, Vivek Ramabhadran, Managing Director, Swarovski Professional India told IANS: “Its very exciting for us. In the past two years, you will see that the designers need to scale up their business. Indian designers have come to a point, where there core business in couture or fashion tends to run on auto pilot mode. So the question is What else to do and the answer is going to be in accessorises, brand licensing and maybe other kinds of projects and so on.

“If you look at accessories part, there are lot of stories of designers tying up with different brand in the last couple of years. The factor behind this is scalability. When we took this offering, they were very excited and had many ideas especially some of them were already Swarovski users on how they wants to take Swarovski and make jewellery.”

As a first of its kind, this jewellery collective demonstrates the vibrancy, color, craft, workmanship bringing alive the signature, vision of each designer.

The collection will be available from October.
