New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal met Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan here on Saturday to discuss the issue of women safety.
“I had gone to meet her to discuss women safety issues. I proposed that there should be one day reserved for issues related to women in Parliament and she liked my idea,” said Maliwal.
In yet another case of crime against women, a 22-year-old girl was eve-teased on a Mumbai local train last night.
As per the reports, the assailant managed to jump off the train before he could be caught. However, the suspect has been caught on a CCTV camera. (ANI)
