T-TDP leaders call on Governor, complain against Speaker

TDP-Telangana leaders today called on Governor E S L Narasimhan at Rajbhavan here and brought to his notice about allotment of TDLP rooms to others.

A delegation of TDP leaders met the Governor on the issue and the Governor assured them that he would seek a report from the Telangana Assembly Speaker.

Speaking to the media later, Telangana State TDP working president A. Revanth Reddy said the party has urged the Governor to look into the issue. The TDP also informed the Governor that the ruling party has re-allotted TDLP room nos. 107 and 110 to others undemocratically and in violation of Assembly rules. The Speaker should have informed the TDLP before re-allotting “our” allotted rooms to others. But the Speaker failed to follow Assembly rules. The ruling party was misusing the Speaker’s post  and was showing vindictive attitude towards the Opposition parties, Revanth Reddy alleged.
