T-TDP leaders meet Guv, demand dismissal of two ministers

TDP Telangana today demanded that the Governor dismiss TRS ministers –Kadiyam Srihari and C. Laxmareddy — for their alleged negligence in connection with leakage of EAMCET-II paper.

A delegation of TDP Telangana leaders, led by State president L Ramana called on the Governor at Rajbhavan and complained about the negligence of the two ministers which led to chaos among students after leakage of EAMCET-II (medical) paper. They also brought to the notice of the Governor that the TRS government has failed to take the Opposition into confidence and adopting “anti-people” policies.

The TDP leaders urged the Governor to direct the TRS government to implement Land Acquisition Act of 2013 as it was taking over lands without following the Act which was passed by Parliament in the interests of the people, including farmers. The compensation for displaced persons of Mallannasagar project should be paid under the 2013 Act, he said.

Speaking to the media later, Ramana said the TRS government was regularly being reprimanded by the courts on various occasions. After quashing the GO 123 by the High Court, it was unfortunate to go in appeal against the judgment, the TDP leader said.

Party’s national official spokesperson Arvind Kumar Goud, former minister E Peddi Reddy, MLA Sandra Venkat Veeraiah, general secretary Amarnath and Onteru Pratap Reddy were in the delegation.

Meanwhile, the High Court adjourned the case filed against the judgment by the State government for Monday. The State government approached a division bench seeking to review the judgment which quashed the GO 123. After hearing the arguments of the government pleader, the High Court adjourned the case to Monday. (NSS)
