Hyderabad: We need to take the caravan of Urdu forward to promote Urdu language so that the rich literary and cultural heritage of Urdu continues for generation after generation, said Mr. Zahid Ali Khan while addressing a gathering on the occasion of release ceremony of Mrs. Surayya Jabeen’s book ‘Shaan-e-Chaman’. The function was held on February 4, at Urdu Hall, Himayat Nagar. Guest of honour Prof. S A Shukoor, chief guest Khaja Kamaluddin, Dr. Humaira Ali also spoke on the occasion.
