Talasani flays Chandrababu on defections

Hyderabad: Telangana Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for adopting “double standards’ on defections.
Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Tuesday, Talasani accused Chandrababu of indulging in “unethical” politics. He said Naidu’s0 harsh words pained them when they left the TDP to join the TRS. “But why Naidu was now encouraging poaching? Chandrababu should tell us how many crores he offered to those who joined the TDP from YSR Congress party on Monday night”, he demanded.
Srinivas Yadav said that it is not right for stature of a chief minister to use such heinous words. Yadav turned vocal that Naidu always makes false claims on ethical politics by encouraging defections and throw dirt on others for the same. The minister also asked Naidu whether he will ask the new leaders who got into the TD fold to contest polls afresh by resigning to their legislators posts. Having promised moon Chandrababu is showing stars to the people of Andhra Pradesh with regard to capital city construction on the lines of Singapore and Malaysia he ridiculed. No buildings have come up so far despite almost two years of state formation he pointed out. He also alleged that Chandrababu has taken a wrong route in this regard and divert peoples’ attention from the key issues. (NSS)
