Talasani inspects Ganesh immersion procession


Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav inspected the security and other arrangements for the Ganesh immersion procession on Sunday.

Talasani, along with City Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy, visited the Command Control Room. Earlier, he was present in the auction of Balapur Ganesh laddu. He also inspected arrangements at Charminar and Maozamjahi Market and also interacted with the officials of GHMC and Water Board at Tank Bund and Necklace Road.

Speaking to media persons, Talasani said nearly 23,000 security personnel have been deployed to ensure peaceful conduct of the festival. He said 400 CC Cameras have been installed on the procession route and one DSP rank official has been deputed at a distance of 400 metres. (INN)
