TDP Leaders Stir—Demand Revocation of MLAs Suspension

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders today organized  a demonstration on the Tank Bund here, protesting against suspension of party MLAs from the State Assembly.  They submitted a representation to the Ambedkar statue, pleading that the TS Government be given wise  counsel.

Senior leader Peddireddy criticized the Government saying that it was violating democratic values and that it was treating the TDP legislators in a arrogant manner.  The leaders demanded that the suspension of the MLAs should be revoked immediately.  The Government got the TDP MLAs suspended out of fear that they would question it if they are in the House, they alleged.
