Kolkata: A father killed the teenager for being in a relationship with his daughter.
Rafiqul Sheikh allegedly shot dead the boy when he came to meet the girl outside his house on Saturday in West Bengal’s Nadia district .
The boy Sajir-Ul Sheikh student of class XI had fallen in love with Rafiqul’s daughter, who is a class X student.
Rafiqul Sheikh never accepted the relationship.
After the incident Rafiqul try to fled the scene when the villagers rushed to the spot on hearing the sound of firing. They saw Sajir lying in a pool of blood immediately he was taken to the Bethuadahari hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
Rafiqul was arrested later on Saturday evening in the Nakashipara area, police said.
His daughter said.”He had come to meet me. Then he was shot from behind by my father. He killed him because we loved each other.”
Sajir’s mother was in shock. She demanded the capital punishment for Rafiqul. She said “He has killed my son. I want him to be hanged.”
