Telangana Cabinet to discuss more than 100 Agenda items today

More than 100 items have been listed for discussion during the meeting of Telangana State Cabinet scheduled to be held on Saturday.

The cabinet meeting, to be held at the State Secretariat, will be chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The issues likely to be discussed by the cabinet include filling up of vacancies in different departments, regularisation of contract employees, increase in pay for outsourcing workers, waiver of electricity and water bills in GHMC limits and issues.

According to sources, the Chief Minister is extremely happy with the party’s performance in Warangal by-elections where TRS candidate P. Dayakar registered a historic victory. Further, the TRS won 10 out of 12 seats in the recently held MLC elections. Therefore, in view of encouraging results, KCR is likely to announce some major sops for the residents of Hyderabad in view of forthcoming GHMC elections. (INN)
