Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today sent a `chadar to the famous Ajmer dargah in Rajasthan on behalf of his Government.
Besides `chadar (holy cloth), he also sent “special money and nazarana (offering)” to Ajmer through Government officials, a press release from his office said.
Special prayer was offered to the `chadar at the event held in CMs camp office, it said.
Minority Welfare Department Secretary Omar Jaleel led the team to Ajmer, which houses the mausoleum of revered saint Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisty, to make the offerings, the release added.
