Sidhhipet (Telangana) [India]: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday visited Erravalli and Narsanapet village in Sidhhipet district to inspect development work of Double-Bedroom Housing Scheme which is being built for the poor.

The scheme was launched in November 2015 by Chief Minister Rao with an aim to provide double bedroom houses for the poor.

The scheme was inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana ministers.

Under the scheme, about 60,000 houses would be built across 119 assembly constituencies in the state at a cost of Rs 4,000 crore.
