Telangana would have gone Kashmir way if Patel had not inferred: BJP

Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday said that it was due to the efforts of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in unifying the country that Telangana is now with India. Had Sardar Patel not inferred in the matter, Telangana would have gone the Kashmir way, Dattatreya said.

The Union Minister along with TS BJP unit chief Dr Laxman and other party leaders paid tributes to Sardar Patel portrait on his birth anniversary at the party office at Nampally. Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya said that the Centre was giving all help to his dream of making Hyderabad a global city. He said that the Centre was keen on imparting skill development to youth and added that as many as 10,000 youth would soon get skill development training in Secundrabad Lok Sabha constituency.

The BJP leader slammed the TRS government saying that it was not showing interest in taking up double bed-room houses scheme to the poor in the state despite Centre’s assurance of financial aid.

BJP state chief Laxman said that it was ridiculous that the state government failed to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel who unified India into a strong nation. (INN)
