Telangana sportsmen outshine at Haryana All India Police duty meet

Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma on Saturday lauded the exemplary performance rendered by the Telangana sports men at the national police duty meet held at Bhanu Panch kula from 27th November to 3rd December.

The Telangana police teams had also participated in the contests held at the police duty meet on themes of Investigation procedures, Finger prints and Forensic Medicine ,Forensic Science, Proceedings of evidential clues ,Explosive Detection and VIP security ,Dog squad, Professional photography and videography held as part of the police duty meet .

Congratulating the winners led by Telangana Special Police, IGP V Srinmivas Rao, who called on him at the DGP office this morning, Anurag Sharma inspired and motivated them by once again adorning them with medals they had won at the meet.

Telangana police had bagged the second place in the overall performance besides rolling trophy for the Hard liner team at the police meet in which teams from all states, Union Territories and also the para-military forces like CRPF, BSF,RPF, CBI ,ITBP and SSP had participated .

In the ground searching contest, PC 2927 Pavan Kumar of the intelligence had bagged the gold medal and RSI Khadir Sharief had won the silver medal. In the portal category, PC 2021 Kalyan Charavarthy of Nalgonda had won the silver medal and PC Ch Yadagiri had also got the Silver in the Observation contest. The Telangana police team had also become the Runner in the category of access control.

The DGP lauded the Telangana police team for their stellar performance at the national police duty meet in which in which they had in all bagged 2 Gold, three silver and one bronze medals .

He also motivated them that the Telangana police sports team should bring more laurels to the state by winning more and more medals and performing meritoriously in all future police events across the country.

IGP (Intelligence) Mahesh Bhagawat also congratulated the Telangana sports team for their achieving second place in overall performance of the anti-sabotage category at the police meet. (INN)
