Telangana state abode of cosmopolitan culture: Home Minister

Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy told that Telangana is the abode of cosmopolitan culture where non-Muslim intellectuals arrange Iftar parties in the Holy Month of Ramadan while their Muslim brothers prepare traditional baskets of Batkamma festival. He further said Telangana’s cosmopolitan culture has become an exemplar for the entire country for centuries and government is taking all measures to strengthen it.

Mr. Narasimha Reddy told this on the occasion of Iftar party hosted by senior advocate High Court and President Federation of State Bar Association B Purshotam Reddy. He also mentioned Iftar parties arranged by the government during the month of Ramadan and distribution of clothes among poor.
