Telangana talk of the nation now; MP Minister hails KCR

Hyderabad: Madhya Pradesh Commerce, Industries and Employment Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia met IT & MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao at Secretariat today.
During the interaction with KTR, Raje heaped praises on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s administration saying that Madhya Pradesh was keenly following the policies and schemes introduced by the Telangana Government. There’s a positive buzz on Telangana throughout the country, Raje added. She specifically sought to know the strategy of Telangana Government with regard to attracting investments to the State and complimented the path-breaking industrial policy – TSiPASS. She also showed keen interest in “Mission Bhagiratha”, “Mission Kakatiya” and their implementation. The Madhya Pradesh Minister informed KTR that her Government took Agriculture, Auto and Electronics as focus areas and mentioned that it ranked number one State in the production of pulses.
KTR told the Madhya Pradesh Minister that Telangana was moving ahead with a definite strategy in the areas of IT, Electronics, Life Sciences, Aerospace, Defense and so on. The historic city of Hyderabad was playing an advantage in attracting investments into the State. The Minister also stated that the Telangana Government was planning to spend Rs 75,000 crore on irrigation and other areas to strengthen agriculture.
Raje recalled how Chief Minister KCR, as leader of Statehood agitation succeeded by employing Gandhian methods and added that he was continuing the same spirit in administration of the newly-formed State. She said there was a nation-wide discussion on the electoral victories of TRS. After learning about the schemes introduced by the Telangana Government keeping the interests of common man in mind, she said she could understand why the electorate was backing the ruling party in each election.
Minister KTR also expressed happiness over meeting the Madhya Pradesh Minister and felicitated her with a shawl and a memento. (NSS)
