‘Telangana tops in Ease of Doing Business’

Telangana ranks high on Ease of doing business in the country, according to the Assistant Director Industries and Commerce K Chandrashekar Babu.

Addressing a regional workshop on “Ease of Doing Business”, organized by the Department of Industrial Promotion and Policy, Government of India at Guwahati, Assam today he explained about the TSIPASS and the various steps initiated by the State government.

 

Sharing experiences of the State, Chandrasekhar said that the government under the guidance of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken innovative initiatives towards “ease of doing business”. Providing quicker clearances and minimizing the human interface by introducing online systems for processing of applications and granting various permissions and incentives to business and industry are some of the initiatives under ease of doing business.

 

The delegates attending the workshop, include Commissioners of Industries and Labour department from the North Eastern States appreciated the initiatives of the Telangana State and said that the State stood as a role model for the entire country.  The HMDA Commissioner Chiranjivulu also attended the workshop, said K.V.
