Telugu CMs skip Governor’s At Home


Hyderabad: “At Home” party thrown by Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on the 67th Republic Day celebrations here failed to see two Telugu Chief Ministers. K Chandrasekhar Rao and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu abstained from attending the event for different reasons. However ministers from two states joined the colourful event wherein the Governor made it to everyone and greeted them in glee and enthusiasm. Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiam Srihari, Mahamood Ali, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy and other ministers attended from Telangana. While AP Council Chairman, Chakrapani, ministers D Umamaheshwar Rao, K Atchen Naidu, P Sujatha and others turned up. Also present were some of Padma awardees like Eenadu group chairman Ramoji Rao, Y Lakshmi Prasad and some cinema personalities, officials and other invitees attended At Home in good numbers. (NSS)
