Makkah: The temporary mataf bridge has been completely removed on Friday. It will facilitate the worshipers to perform the ritual of tawaf.
Sheikh Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais, the Imam of Kabah announced it.
The temporary mataf bridge was opened for circumambulation on 22nd July, 2013, to facilitate the worshippers for tawaf during the expansion work.
Al-Halabi told that the removal of the temporary bridge was done according to a scheduled plan by the Binladin Group over eight stages.
