Hyderabad: Mr. Shaik Nisar Ahmed of Kareem Nagar made a complaint to Minorities Commission that Administrator and Engineer-in-Chief of Irrigation Dept. had not filled up BC (E) category candidates deliberately for the past few years depriving many deserving Muslim candidates. Minorities Commission immediately intervened and made a representation. As a result of ten Muslim candidates were recruited against the posts of Technical Assistance in Irrigation Dept. under BC (E) category. The commission had raised the issue of providing 4% reservation to the candidates displaced on account of Sri Ram Sagar project construction scheme. Administrator and Engineer-in-Chief submitted a report to Chairman of Minorities Commission, Mr. Abid Rasool Khan informing that ten Muslim candidates have been recruited under 4% reservation.
