Terrorism worst enemy of democracy: Najma

Najma Heptullah

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla today expressed solidarity with families of Paris terror attack victims asserting terrorism is “worst” enemy of democracy and people.

“Terrorism is the worst enemy of democracy and the people. My prayers are with the families of the deceased. #ParisAttacks,” Heptulla said on Twitter.

At least 128 people were killed in a series of coordinated attacks by suicide bombers and gunmen in Paris who hit a concert hall, restaurants and the national sports stadium. The militant group Islamic State claimed that it was behind the attacks.

At least two explosions were heard near the Stade de France national stadium where a France-Germany friendly soccer match was being played, attended by President Francois Hollande.
