Badaun: Four children, including three brothers, drowned in a pond in Gujariya area while taking bath today, police said here.
Sunil (15), his brothers – Sukhveer (12), and Pushpendra (10) – and another boy, Puran (12), slipped into deep water while taking bath in the village pond this afternoon, they said.
They were taken to a hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, police said.
District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Tripathi said the bodies would be handed over to the family members after post-mortem.
