Three held on drug trafficking charge in Delhi

New Delhi: Three persons suspected to be members of a drug traffickers’ gang have been arrested and 11 kg of hashish valued at Rs 55 lakh seized from them, Delhi Police said on Tuesday.

The gang was supplying ‘Malana Cream-Red Ice’ drug in Delhi and Goa clubs, police said.

Police said gang kingpin Biru of Himachal Pradesh as well as Rinku Kumar and Jitender Kumar were arrested on Monday night when Biru came on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway near Mahipalpur to deliver the cannabis-based recreational drug.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) P.K. Kushwah said the accused told police that they had so far sold over 60 kg drug valued at over Rs 3 crore in Delhi and Goa.
