Karachi: At least three suspected militants have been killed in the Shawal Valley of North Waziristan in the first ever airstrike by a Pakistan made drone “Burraq”.
According to the Dawn, the armed drone was developed in November 2013.
Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa announced the first use of the drone in a tweet.
He said that a terrorist compound was hit and three militants were killed in the air strike carried out by “Burraq”. (ANI)
