Hyderabad: In the wake of the arrests of the Muslims youths in the city, Hyderabad City Police has made tight security arrangements. Ms. Swathi Lakra, Addl. Commissioner of Police (Crimes) has been entrusted with the law and order arrangements in South Zone. In view of huge gathering at Makkah Masjid today, police deployed a large number of policemen which include two DCPs, Five Addl. SPs, 25 DSPs and other police officials.
The sudden arrests made by NIA have created a panic among the Muslims. Many citizens are opposing the action taken by NIA. The Muslims have an apprehension that more arrests could be made.
